About VedrixCP
VedrixCP is a product of TagLancer, built for companies who host other people’s websites on servers they control.
Why it exists
Control panels are either expensive per account, or free and unmaintained. A host growing past a few hundred customers finds the licence bill scaling with their customer count rather than their revenue, and the alternatives ask them to accept software nobody is responsible for.
VedrixCP is licensed per installation. Add servers, add customers, add resellers — the price does not move.
Who builds it
TagLancer runs a hosting business, and VedrixCP is the panel that business runs on. Features arrive because we needed them, and bugs get found because our own customers are on it.
Hosting and domain registration are sold by TagLancer’s hosting business. This site sells the panel and nothing else — we are not competing with the hosts who buy it.
How we think about the product
Your customers are not our leverage
A lapsed licence drops the panel to the free tier. It never suspends a hosting account, never stops mail, never touches DNS. If our billing has a problem, that is between us and you — it must not reach the people you serve.
Isolation by the operating system, not by policy
Every hosting account is a real Unix user with its own PHP-FPM pool and
open_basedir. When we cannot isolate something properly — a
database with no per-user privilege model, for instance — we leave it out
rather than ship a weaker second model beside the first.
Honest about gaps
The features page lists what is deliberately missing and why. A feature list that disappoints after purchase costs more than the sale was worth.
Licensing
VedrixCP is proprietary software. It is not open source and we do not describe it as source-available. You buy a licence to run it; the source is not distributed.
