Licensing

Is the free tier a trial?

No — it does not expire. One hosting account, for ever, with the full core panel. It is how you decide whether to pay us.

Am I charged per hosting account?

No. A paid licence covers one panel installation, whatever number of accounts, servers, resellers or customers you put on it.

What happens if my licence expires?

The panel drops to the free tier and keeps running. It does not suspend or delete a single hosting account, website, mailbox or DNS zone. Our billing problem must not become your customers’ outage.

I need to move to a new server.

Move it. The licence binds to your server’s IP address and you can rebind three times in any 30 days without asking. Beyond that, tell us and we will release it.

What if your licence server is down?

Nothing happens to you. The panel verifies its licence offline against a key built into it, and only contacts us occasionally. It carries on for a fortnight without reaching us at all, and then still degrades to free rather than stopping.

Do I need a licence key for the free tier?

Yes. Downloads are tied to a key so we know who is running the software and can reach you about a security release. It costs nothing.

Running it

Can I use my own billing system?

Yes. Switch the panel’s billing off and run WHMCS or Blesta. In that mode the panel stops invoicing and stops auto-suspending, so two systems are never both deciding to suspend the same customer.

Can I white-label it?

On the Business tier, yes — your brand, your logo, your support details, for you and for your resellers.

How many servers can one panel manage?

As many as you attach. Accounts are placed across them and can be moved between them while running.

Can I migrate from cPanel or Plesk?

There are importers for cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, CWP and CyberPanel. You upload a backup, the panel inspects it and tells you what is in it before importing anything.

Is my data sent to you?

No. We receive your licence key, your server’s IP, its hostname and the panel version. We never receive your files, databases, email or your customers’ details, and there is no mechanism in the panel to send them.

Buying

Do you take Indian payment methods?

Yes — cards, UPI, net banking and wallets through our payment provider. Your card details never touch our servers; payment happens on the provider’s page.

Do you give GST invoices?

Yes. Add your GSTIN to your account and it appears on every invoice.

Can I get a refund?

Within the window on our refunds page, in full, without an argument. We would rather you used the free tier first and never needed to ask.

Is it open source?

No. VedrixCP is proprietary and the source is not distributed. We do not describe it as open source or source-available, because it is neither.
